Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day, is a American R&B/Soul songwriter and singer. Her awards include the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are among the many accolades she has been awarded. In addition, she was considered for nominations to an Academy Award. Andra Days is a strong artist who also writes well. She is not only a specialist in retro R&B, her musical roots are blues and gospel jazz. Andra Day's debut Cheers to Autumn (2015) has topped the hiphop/R&B charts. She first appeared in television shows like 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her movie debut with Allyson Nelson in the film horror series Halloween and the sequels. Andi is an American actor born in Framingham on the 3rd of May 1994.
