Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she coaches athletes. Annie is the only female ever to win at the CrossFit Games two times. She finished second both in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media celebrity. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. Other accomplishments include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2017 and 2013. Annie as well as her both her parents and siblings was born to Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young child she's been a competitive athlete and fitness enthusiast. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit competitions in California in which she did good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years of age (as in 2021). She stands 5'7 tall, and weighs approximately 67 kg. Annie started CrossFit when she was in California. Annie did very well in her first competitions and finished with the top 10. But she did not win any title she ended her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Her coach Jami Tikannen helped her achieve an overall second place in the CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. As a result of her outstanding performance, she was able to claim her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie was the first female who has ever won consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. Also, she received a trophy of silver in 2014 and an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face of numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and the Sidekick Yorbae. A few thousand people subscribe to her self-titled Youtube Channel, where training videos as well as travel and family videos are shared.
