Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Her movies are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). Growing up in an artistic family in New York she wished to be a part of the art. When she was a photographer's assistant She turned her focus to acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most promising Newcomer. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international recognition and several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. The film was recognized as the most successful box office star in the world after only three films. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv series The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
