Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th, 1962) is an American actor from the United States. After her first movie Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack participant in WarGames '83 and The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a member of the group. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American author and actress for over 20 years. Sheedy began her acting career by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. The film was starring Rick Rosenthal as well as Sean Penn and Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. She appeared on screen in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy following her initial fame. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club is considered as among high school cinema's best films. Even though the budget of the film was only $1 million, its profits exceeded $50 million. Also, she began to appear in a variety of TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. The show was for teens and first aired in April of 1980. She also appeared on other shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. In Little Sister she makes a appearance as a guest. Also, she appears on X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film where her character is only a short cameo. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 due to her performances. She also was honored by the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
