Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American performer, singer and actress. As a child, Sara was racially taunted by American citizens of all races. When she was in 9th grade she felt more confident when she was praised by her teachers for singing at a school's audition. The singer not only gained confidence through the audition however, she also re-evaluate her the direction of her career. When she was 22, she received her degree from the Julliard School of New York. When she turned 23 she began her journey in Broadway in the Paul Simon musical The Capeman. Then, at 23 years old she made her film debut in You've Got Mail. The role in The lad from The Lake was her greatest break, earning herself the Tony Award in addition to critical acclaim for her role. Her fame grew by appearing on Grey's Anatomy on ABC as Dr. Callie Torres. She is also a known artist and produced an extended show. She also works as a LGBT activist.
